How to map Amazon inventory to QuickBooks inventory with CSV files

Inventory Mapping Using CSV File

To import Amazon Seller Central transactions into QuickBooks, it is necessary to configure Amazon to QuickBooks item mapping.

If keep inventory in stock and need to track its quantity on hand, current inventory value and average cost, map Amazon SKUs to QuickBooks Online Inventory Products / QuickBooks Desktop Inventory Parts.

Note: if you use QuickBooks Online, you may want to view QuickBooks Online Inventory Tutorial

If you do not keep inventory in stock (e.g. use dropshipping), map Amazon SKUs to QuickBooks Online Non-inventory Products / QuickBooks Desktop Non-inventory Parts.

Initiate Mapping Verification

  1. click Import Statement to go to Amazon Statements page

  2. click Import (next to the corresponding statement) to start mapping verification

Edit Item Mapping (CSV)

Note: if Amazon SKU is equal to QuickBooks Item Name, Entriwise will map them automatically

Download CSV file:

  1. go to CSV Mapping page

  2. click Download CSV to save file with product mapping on the computer

Edit CSV file

  1. open saved CSV file with product mapping

  2. enter corresponding QuickBooks Item Name

  3. save changes and close the file

Verify Mapping

To verify mapping, upload updated CSV file to Entriwise

  • go to CSV Mapping page and click Upload CSV

  • Choose CSV file, click Open to upload the file and verify mapping

Completed Mapping

When mapping is complete, your mapping page will have no unmapped items listed. Now you can proceed with the import.
