Item Mapping Using CSV File
To import Amazon Seller Central transactions into QuickBooks, it is necessary to configure Amazon to QuickBooks item mapping.
If keep inventory in stock and need to track its quantity on hand, current inventory value and average cost, map Amazon SKUs to QuickBooks Online Inventory Products / QuickBooks Desktop Inventory Parts.
Note: if you use QuickBooks Online, you may want to view QuickBooks Online Inventory Tutorial
If you do not keep inventory in stock (e.g. use dropshipping), map Amazon SKUs to QuickBooks Online Non-inventory Products / QuickBooks Desktop Non-inventory Parts.
1. Initiate Mapping Verification
Import Statementto go to Amazon Statements page
Import(next to the corresponding statement) to start mapping verification
2. Edit Item Mapping (CSV)
Amazon SKUis equal to
QuickBooks Item Name, Entriwise will map them automatically
2.1. Download CSV file:
- go to
Download CSVto save file with product mapping on the computer
2.2. Edit CSV file:
- open saved CSV file with product mapping
- enter corresponding
QuickBooks Item Name
- save changes and close the file
3. Verify Mapping
To verify mapping, upload updated CSV file to Entriwise
- go to
CSV Mappingpage and click
- Choose CSV file, click
Opento upload the file and verify mapping
When mapping is complete, your mapping page will have no unmapped items listed. Now you can proceed with the import.
